Exceedingly rare original huge art deco mantel clock manufactured in France around 1925.
This extremely luxurious model features a striking portico design we never ever saw anywhere else with a bronue lady sitting on its top section, holding in her hand a garland of flowers extending to the sides of the clock. Sriking selection of light blue grey and ivory marble together with honey streaked black onyx makes this HUGE clocks tand out.
The hinged glass cover of the dial feature a brass frame. The dial is set again a background of gold, notice the extremely geometric dial numbers.
The pendulum mechanism runs fine, bell strikes every half an hour.
